I love the simple but glamorous pendant lights over the bedside tables, however the striking feature of the Master Bedroom was the ‘Anaglypta’ wall paper purchased in London.   ‘Anaglypta’ wallpaper is pretty unique,  it’s basically wallpaper but you can paint it.  The wallpaper has a raised embossed pattern design, typically quite ornate.  The pattern that I used was the ‘fleur de lis, classic, however painted Duck Egg Blue gave the space a contemporary appearance.  Clearly the advantage of ‘Anaglypta’ wallpaper is being able to colour match your walls so your  room appears seamless and you create interest using texture.  Good news is you can paint over it again if you tire of your first colour choice.
